The Holy virgin Mary Church is located in the town of Nemunėlio Radviliškis, Biržai District, near the Lithuanian-Latvian border, at the confluence of the rivers Apaščia and Nemunėlis. This stone masonry church in a historicist style with Neo-Classical elements was built in 1854. The founder of the church was Count Jonas Tiškevičius.
It stands out from other unplastered stone churches in Lithuania with its richly decorated exterior. The interior of the church is modest, due to town fire of 1905. During the event, the church tower collapsed, destroying the ceiling, roof, altar, and paintings that were hanging above the church's main entrance. Soon after, the church was restored and a new church tower was built.
