Christian community of Biržai evangelical faith
in 1912 June 3 After returning from America, Petras Viederis registered the first Biržai Pentecostal church in Lithuania. It was the first registered Pentecostal church in the then Russian Empire. The name "Pentecost" is associated with the day of Pentecost, the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, described in the Holy Scriptures, Acts, Chapter 2.
